Funeral expenses and death allowances are provided before the funeral ceremonies. However, if persons authorised to receive the death allowances referred to in Article 3 of this Order are not immediately available or if there is any other reason that may delay the disbursement of death allowances, death allowances are disbursed within thirty (30) days from the date of death of the employee. Article 4: Temps de versement des dépenses funéraires et des indemnités de décès Les dépenses funéraires et les indemnités de décès sont versées avant les cérémonies funéraires. Toutefois, lorsque les personnes autorisées à recevoir des indemnités funéraires ne peuvent être disponibles immédiatement ou lorsqu’il existe un autre motif pouvant retarder le versement des indemnités de décès, les indemnités de décès sont versées endéans trente (30) jours à compter de la date de décès du travailleur. Article 5: Repealing provision Article 5: Disposition abrogatoire Ministerial Order n° 01 of 02/07/2010 fixing the period and modalities for payment and amount to be paid for funeral indemnities and all prior provisions contrary to this Order are repealed. L’Arrêté Ministeriel n° 01 du 02/07/2010 fixant la période, les modalités et le montant des indemnités funéraires ainsi que toutes les dispositions antérieures contraires au présent arrêté sont abrogés.
