Statute overview

About this statute

This Order sets out how employee training is to be carried out. A collective agreement, enterprise rules of procedure, or an employment contract determines the employees’ training plan. The employer, the employee, or both must bear the cost of training. An employee may take training related to their duties if the employer and employee agree. An employee under training has the right to full salary for training up to six months, and for longer training to full salary for the first six months and two-thirds salary afterward; training holidays are deducted from annual leave.
