Statute overview

About this statute

This Order aims to facilitate access to employment for persons with disabilities. A person with disability has the same rights as others to get a job and to receive needed work documents/facilitation, except for any special rules in this Order. People offering jobs must give priority to a person with disability when candidates are equally qualified, and no one may deny employment or dismiss someone because of disability. This article says the labour market information body should list persons with disabilities who finished secondary, vocational, or higher education so they can be encouraged to seek jobs or supported to create employment. Employers who hire persons with disabilities up to 5% of their workforce are to receive official awards determined by the Minister in charge of labour.
