The Committee reports to the National Civil Aviation Security Committee the matter relating to aviation security not resolved on its level. The meeting of the Committee is held at least once in three (3) months and whenever necessary. La réunion du Comité se tient au moins une fois dans trois (3) mois et chaque fois que de besoin. The meeting of the Committee is convened by its Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson, in case of absence of the Chairperson, on his or her own initiative or upon a written request by at least three (3) of its members. Iyo umubare wa ngombwa utuzuye, inama yimurirwa mu gihe kitarenze iminsi cumi n’itanu (15). Icyakora, iyo inama itumijwe bwa kabiri, iraterana kandi igafata ibyemezo hatitawe ku mubare w’abitabiriye. The quorum for the meeting of the Committee to be held is at least two-thirds (2/3) of its members. In case the quorum is not reached, the meeting is postponed within fifteen working (15) days. However, when the meeting is convened for the second time, it is held and takes decisions regardless of the number of members who are present. The Chairperson of the Committee may invite a resource person in its meeting. Le Président du Comité peut inviter une personne ressource dans sa réunion. Uwatumiwe ntiyemerewe gutora no gukurikirana iyigwa ry’izindi ngingo ziri ku murongo w’ibyigwa. The invited person is not allowed either to vote or to follow debates on other items on the agenda. La personne invitée n’est pas autorisée à voter ni suivre les débats sur d’autres points à l’ordre du jour.

In case of failure to obtain the consensus, the matter is submitted to the National Civil Aviation Security Committee. Les décisions du Comité sont prises par consensus. À défaut du consensus, la question est soumise au Comité National de Sûreté de l’Aviation Civile.
