The Transitional National Assembly, meeting as a Constituent Assembly in its session of December 20, 2002; Given the Fundamental Law, as amended to date, especially the Arusha Peace Agreement in its part on Power- Sharing in its articles 6-d, 40, and 72, in its part on Miscellaneous Issues and Final Provisions, in its article 19, Having reviewed the Fundamental Law, as amended to date, especially the Constitution of June 10, 1991 in its articles 12 and 69 and the Arusha Peace Agreement, in its part on Power-Sharing, in its articles 24-c, 27-j), 41 and 45 and the part on Miscellaneous Issues and Final Provisions, in its article 7; Considering that there are Fundamental Law provisions that have to be updated; ADOPTS : Article 8 : La presente revision de la Loi Fond- nentale entre en vigueur le jour de sa promulgation par le President de la Republique.
