Statute overview

About this statute

These instructions set the maximum mission allowance for civil servants on missions inside the country. These instructions apply to specified senior civil servants and similar-level staff in ministries and public institutions. A civil servant covered by article 2 is entitled to a mission allowance when on an official mission inside the country, whether or not an overnight stay is involved, and the amount depends on job level. Civil servants who spend the night on a mission may have accommodation, dinner, and breakfast costs covered through a purchase order, and the institution where they work pays those costs. The allowance mentioned in article 3 must be given to the employee before the employee goes on mission.
