Statute overview

About this statute

This provision creates the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB). NAEB’s head office must be in Kigali City, and it may open branches elsewhere in or outside Rwanda if necessary and approved by a Prime Minister’s Order. NAEB is assigned responsibilities for promoting agricultural and livestock exports. A Prime Minister’s Order determines which authority supervises NAEB and what category it falls into. NAEB has two management organs: the Board of Directors and the General Directorate. The Prime Minister may also determine other relevant organs.
