This article says the law applies to labour relations between workers and employers, and between employers and apprentices or trainees under a contract. This article excludes several groups from the law’s scope, including public service employees, people in family farming/breeding/commercial/industrial activities, and informal sector workers, with listed exceptions. Children under 16 may not be employed, including as apprentices, in any company. Children aged 16 to 18 may be employed only under articles 5, 6, and 7 of the law.
