Statute overview

About this statute

This Order sets out who is covered by MMI and how MMI medical insurance is organized and managed. Article 2 lists who counts as an MMI-insured person and says MMI coverage does not stop an insured person from getting extra complementary insurance. This article lists who counts as an eligible dependant of an MMI insured person. Medical insurance contributions under MMI are paid by the employee and employer, and if both spouses are insured by MMI, each spouse pays separately. MMI medical insurance contributions are calculated on gross salary, and for certain insured state/security personnel the government pays 17.5% while the insured person pays 3%.
