Rwanda accedes to Arusha Protocol for the protection of new varieties of plants, adopted at Arusha, in the United Republic of Tanzania, on 06 July 2015, within the framework of the Intellectual Property African Regional Organization (ARIPO), annexed to this order, and the said Protocol becomes fully effective. (1) Le présent Protocole peut être modifié à la demande de tout État contractant ou du Directeur Général de l'ARIPO au cours des sessions du Conseil d'Administration. Adoption of the amendments of any (2) provisions of this Protocol shall require a majority of two-thirds of the votes of all the Contracting States. (2) L'adoption des amendements à l'une quelconque des dispositions du présent Protocole requiert une majorité des deux tiers des voix de tous les Etats contractants.

(1) Any Contracting State may denounce this Protocol by notification addressed to the Director General of ARIPO. Denunciation of this Protocol shall (2) take effect six months after receipt of the said notification by the Director General of ARIPO and shall not affect any application filed or breeder's right granted prior to the expiration of the said six months.
