About this statute

This article ratifies the Rwanda–AFD host agreement and makes it fully effective. The Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning are responsible for implementing this Order. This Order takes effect on the day it is published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Rwanda. The French Development Agency country office in Rwanda has legal personality and may do the acts needed to carry out its functions, while not being treated as a bank in Rwanda. The Organization is exempt, under Rwandan law, from specified taxes and duties on its assets, income, property, and certain imported or purchased items for official use, with stated exceptions.
