About this statute

Imported cattle entering Ruanda-Urundi via routes with quarantine posts must be vaccinated preventively against anthrax. Anthrax vaccinations give rise to a remunerative tax of 8 francs per head of cattle. Infractions under this ordinance can be punished by up to 2 months’ penal servitude and/or a fine of up to 2,000 francs. This article repeals Ordonnance n° 10/Agri. S. V. of 15 February 1938.
