The new five hundred Rwandan francs banknote (500 Rwf) issued by the National Bank of Rwanda and whose principal characteristics are specified in the annex of this Order is hereby given with a legal tender in Rwanda. The new five hundred Rwandan Francs banknote shall be used simultaneously with the existing banknotes of five hundred (500 Frw), one thousand (1000 Frw), two thousand (2000 Frw) and five thousand (Frw) which are in circulation and legal tender. Le nouveau billet de banque de cinq cents francs rwandais (500 Frw) est utilisé simultanément avec les billets de banque de cinq cents (500 Frw), mille (1000 Frw), deux mille (2000 Frw) et cinq mille (5000 Frw) francs rwandais actuellement en circulation et ayant cours légal au Rwanda.
