Ingingo ya 19 y’Itegeko n° 013/2018 ryo ku wa 04/04/2018 imitunganyirize, rigena ububasha n’imikorere by’Inama Nkuru ihinduwe ku buryo y’Ubushinjacyaha bukurikira: Article 19 of Law no 013/2018 of 04/04/2018 determining the organisation, powers and functioning of the High Council of the National Public Prosecution is amended as follows: « Inama Nkuru y’Ubushinjacyaha ifite ububasha bukurikira: “The High Council of the National Public Prosecution Authority has the following powers: (a) kwiga ku imikorere Bukuru; bibazo byerekeye y’Ubushinjacyaha (a) to examine matters relating to the functioning of the National Public Prosecution Authority; organisation, L’article 19 de la Loi nº 013/2018 du 04/04/2018 portant et fonctionnement du Conseil Supérieur de l’Organe National de Poursuite Judiciaire est modifié comme suit : compétences « Le Conseil Supérieur de l’Organe National de compétences Poursuite suivantes: Judiciaire les a (a) étudier des questions au fonctionnement de l’Organe National de Poursuite Judiciaire ; liées (b) gutanga inama, ibyibwirije cyangwa ku byose bibazo imikorere y’ubutabera ibisabwe, byerekeye mpanabyaha; (b) to provide advice, either on its own initiative or upon request, on all matters pertaining to the functioning of the criminal justice system; (b) donner, de sa propre initiative ou sur demande, des avis sur toutes questions en rapport avec le fonctionnement du système de justice pénale ; (c) gufata ibyemezo ku bijyanye w’ubushinjacyaha n’umwuga y’abashinjacyaha, n’imyitwarire abafasha b’Ubushinjacyaha Bukuru n’abakozi bo mu Bushinjacyaha Bukuru bari mu bubasha bwayo, uretse Umushinjacyaha Mukuru n’Umushinjacyaha Mukuru Wungirije; (c) to make decisions on matters related to the prosecutorial function and the conduct of prosecutors, assistants to the National Public Prosecution Authority and staff members of the National Public Prosecution Authority falling within its jurisdiction with the exception of the Prosecutor General and the Deputy Prosecutor General; (c) prendre des décisions en rapport avec des questions liées à la fonction de poursuite judiciaire et à la conduite des officiers de poursuite judiciaire, des assistants de l’Organe National de Poursuite Judiciaire et du personnel de Poursuite l’Organe National Judiciaire relevant de sa compétence, à l’exception du Procureur Général et du Procureur Général Adjoint ; de 12 (d) gutanga inama kuri kandidatire Mukuru Mukuru y’Umushinjacyaha n’iy’Umushinjacyaha Wungirije; Official Gazette n° 40 Bis of 06/10/2025 (d) to provide advice on the candidacy of the Prosecutor General and that of the Deputy Prosecutor General; (d) donner des conseils sur la candidature du Procureur Général et celle du Procureur Général Adjoint ; (e) kwemeza abashinjacyaha bashyirwaho n’Iteka rya Minisitiri w’Intebe n’abashinjacyaha bashyirwaho n’Iteka rya Minisitiri ufite ubutabera mu nshingano. » (e) to approve prosecutors appointed by a Prime Minister’s and prosecutors appointed by an Order of the Minister in charge of justice.” Order (e) approuver les officiers de poursuite judiciaire nommés par arrêté du Premier Ministre et les officiers de poursuite judiciaire nommés par arrêté du Ministre ayant la justice dans ses attributions ».
