ENACTED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY. Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act, 2026. Authorisation of expenditure 2. The Minister of Finance, Economic Planning, Trade and Investment, may by warrant under the hand of the Minister authorise the issue from the Consolidated Fund for the services of the Republic for the year 2026, of a sum not exceeding Eleven billion, eight hundred and forty two million, six hundred and eighty two thousand, five hundred and twenty one (R 11, 842, 682, 521) which sum shall be appropriated in accordance with the Schedule for the purposes specified therein.
