ENACTED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY. Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Liberation Memorial Fund Decree (Repeal) Act, 2025 and shall come into operation on 1st August, 2025. [11th Aug u s t 2 0 2 5 ] Liberati o n Memorial Fund Decree (Repeal) Act 298 REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES SUPPLEMENT TO OFFICIAL GAZETTE ACT Repeal of Decree 24 of 1977 2. The Liberation Memorial Fund Decree is hereby repealed. Dissolution of the Board 3. The Board of Trustees of the Liberation Memorial Fund shall stand dissolved without any claim for compensation by any member. Assets and liabilities 4.(1) All the assets and liabilities of the Liberation Memorial Fund vested in the Board shall be transferred to the Government. (2) The Agency for Social Protection shall administer any benefits payable under the Decree.
