ENACTED by the President and the National Assembly. Short title 1. This Act may be cited as The Truth, Reconciliation and National Unity Commission (Amendment) Act, 2021, and shall be read and construed as one with The Truth, Reconciliation and National Unity Commission Act, 2018. iv Supplement to Official Gazette [22nd October 2021] Amendment of section 4 2. Section 4 (1) of the Truth, Reconciliation and National Unity Commission Act, 2018 hereinafter referred to as the “principal Act” is amended by repealing subsection 4(1) and substituting therefor the following — 4.(1) The Commission shall consist of five Commissioners, namely a Chairperson, a Vice-Chairperson and three other Commissioners, one of whom shall be non-Seychellois who at the time of appointment is not resident in Seychelles. Validity of decisions 3. Any decision taken by the Commission during the period when the Commission is not fully constituted shall be valid and shall be deemed to have been properly made under this Act.
