[4th December 202 3 ] S u pplementary Appropriation 1 REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES SUPPLEMENT TO OFFICIAL GAZETTE BILL SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION BILL, 2023 (Bill No. 28 of 2023) EXPLANATORY STATEMENT ON OBJECTS OF AND REASONS FOR THE BILL This Bill seeks in compliance with article 154 (7) of the Constitution to provide for the appropriation of the sum of four hundred and seventy four million, six hundred and twenty nine thousand, two hundred and twenty two rupees and sixty one cents (SCR474,629,222.61) referred to in the supplementary estimate approved by the resolutions of the National Assembly on Wednesday 28th September 2022 (SCR472,807,404.81), and on Monday 4th December 2023 (SCR1,821,817.80), to regularize the expenditure incurred in 2022. ENACTED by the President and the National Assembly. Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Supplementary Appropriation Act, 2023. [4th December 202 3 ] S u pplementary Appropriation 3 REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES SUPPLEMENT TO OFFICIAL GAZETTE BILL Appropriation of Expenditure 2. The sum not exceeding four hundred and seventy four million, six hundred and twenty nine thousand, two hundred and twenty two rupees and sixty one cents (SCR474,629,222.61) referred to in the supplementary estimate approved by the resolutions of the National Assembly on Wednesday 28th September 2022 (SCR472,807,404.81), and on Monday 4th December 2023 (SCR1,821,817.80), is hereby appropriated from the Consolidated Fund for the purposes specified in the supplementary estimate.
