[13th December 2022] Supplementary Appropriation Bill, 2022 1 REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES SUPPLEMENT TO OFFICIAL GAZETTE BILL SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION BILL, 2022 (Bill No. 44 of 2022) OBJECTS AND REASONS This Bill seeks in compliance with article 154 (7) of the Constitution to provide for the appropriation of the sum of four hundred and seventy one million, three hundred and thirty eight thousand, four hundred and eighty one rupees and forty three cents (SCR471,338,481.43) referred to in the supplementary estimate approved by the resolutions of the National Assembly on Wednesday 22nd September, 2021 (SCR303,911,788.83), and on Tuesday 13th December 2022 (SCR167,426,692.60), to regularise the expenditure incurred in 2021. ENACTED by the President and the National Assembly. Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Supplementary Appropriation Act, 2022. [13th December 2022] Supplementary Appropriation Bill, 2022 3 REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES SUPPLEMENT TO OFFICIAL GAZETTE BILL Appropriation of expenditure 2. The sum not exceeding four hundred and seventy one million, three hundred and thirty eight thousand, four hundred and eighty one rupees and forty three cents (SCR471,338,481.43) referred to in the supplementary estimate approved by the resolutions of the National Assembly on Wednesday 22nd September 2021 (SCR 303,911,788.83), and on Tuesday 13th December 2022 (SCR167,426,692.60) is hereby appropriated from the Consolidated Fund for the purposes specified in the supplementary estimate.
