This Ordinance may be cited as the Termites Ordinance, 1957. Interpretation 2. (2) A permit under subsection (1) may only be granted after the Director of Agriculture and Natural Resources or his or her duly authorised representative has inspected the material referred to in that subsection and satisfied himself or herself that it is to the best of his or her belief free from infestation by termites. No lumber, wood, furniture or other materials which have at any time been attacked by termites may be removed into the Levelwood, Sandy Bay or Blue Hill areas from outside, or from one of those areas into another. The area bounded on the west by a straight line from Halley’s Mount to Diana’s Peak thence by a straight line to Long Range thence by a straight line to Long Range Point; on the north by a line from Halley’s Mount crossing the road at the Hutt’s Gate Mill and thence down the middle of Fishers Valley to the sea but excluding Hutt’s Gate Mill and its adjoining Paddocks; on the south and east by the sea. 3 Sandy Bay Area 2. The area bounded on the east by a straight line from Halley’s Mount to Diana’s Peak thence in a straight line to Long Range, thence in a straight line to Long Range Point; on the north by the central ridge from Diana’s Peak to High Peak and on the west by a line from High Peak following the road to the picquet house at Thompson’s Wood, thence in a straight line to Castle Rock Point; on the south by the sea.
