TRISTAN DA CUNHA REVISED EDITION OF THE LAWS, 2017 PUBLIC FINANCE AND REVENUE COMMEMORATIVE COINAGE (TRISTAN DA CUNHA) ORDINANCE, 19761 Ordinance T4 of 1976 No amendments to 1 November 2017 Subsidiary legislation2 __________________ COMMEMORATIVE COINAGE (TRISTAN DA CUNHA) ORDINANCE, 1976 AN ORDINANCE to provide for the making and issuing of commemorative coins. Short title 1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Commemorative Coinage (Tristan da Cunha) Ordinance, 1976. Coins commemorating notable events 2. (1) With prior approval of the Secretary of State the Governor may cause coins to be made and issued to commemorate notable events of importance to Tristan da Cunha. (2) The coins must be of such denominations and of such weight, form and design and made of metal or metals from time to time specified by the Governor, with the approval of the Secretary of State, by Order published in the Gazette.3 Legal status of coins 3.
