Statute overview

About this statute

Printers of printed matter must put a legible notice on printed matter distributed in the Republic showing who printed it and the printer’s correct name and business address, unless an exception applies. Sections 8 to 15 of the Imprint Act, 1993 are repealed. This section extends the Imprint Act, 1993 so it also applies in certain former Republic territories, starting on commencement of the Imprint Amendment Act, 1994. This section repeals a list of specified laws. This provision states the Act’s short title: the Imprint Amendment Act, 1994.
