About this statute

This section amends the Transport Appeal Tribunal Act, 1998 by expanding the definition of “act, direction or decision.” This section amends the definition of “handeling, opdrag of beslissing” in the principal Act to include several specified acts, orders, and decisions. This section updates statutory definitions used in section 4. This provision amends section 4(2)(a) so the Tribunal may appoint fit and proper members with knowledge of, or experience in, specified fields. The Minister may extend a Tribunal member’s term of office when it expires, for up to 12 consecutive months.
