Statute overview

About this statute

This section amends the definition of “issuing authority” in the principal Act. This section replaces subsections (3) and (4) so that a warrant issued under the section is treated as execution process, and it must be executed as prescribed. Documents that must be served on an infringer must be served personally or by registered mail to the infringer’s last known address. The agency must pay penalties and certain road-traffic fines over monthly to the relevant issuing authority. This provision repeals Section 6 of the Finance and Financial Adjustments Acts Consolidation Act, 1977.
