1. 2. The expressions used in this Act sh all each have the m eaning ascrib ed to it in the Public Finance Act

3. The T reasury m ay issue out o f the C onsolidated H ind and ap p ly tow ards the sup p ly granted lor the service o f the y e a r ending on the thirtieth d ay o f Ju ne. 2 0 0 4 . the sum o f tw en ty-th ree thousand, five hundred seventy nine million one hundred thirty one thousand six hundred and thirteen shillin gs.

4. The sum granted by paragrap h 3 shall be appropriated to the purposes and in the am ounts specified in the second, and fifth colum ns o f the Schedule to this Act.

5 . - ( l ) The M inister m ay. at any tim e or tim es not later than the thirtieth d ay o f June. 2004. borrow within or outside the United R epublic or p artly w ithin and p artly outside the United R epublic, an y sum or sum s not exceedin g in the whole tw enty-three thousand, five hundred seventy nine m illion one hundred thirty one thousand, six hundred and thirteen sh illin gs by w a y o f loan, advance, the issue o f b ills or bank overdraft and on such term s and conditions as the M in ister m ay deem expedient, and m ay ch arge that loan or advance on an y o f the assets o f the United R epublic, including securities forming part o f the C onsolidated Fund. (2) A ny money borrowed under this section sh all be placed to the credit o f the exchequer account and shall form part o f the C onsolidated Fund, and be a v aila b le in an y m anner in w hich that Fund is av ailab le.
