The Urban Planning (Malinyi Planning Area) Order, 2021

1. This Order may be cited as the Urban Planning (Malinyi Planning Area) Order, 2021. Declaration of planning area Cap. 355 Scheme of scheduled area

2. The area described in the Schedule to this Order is hereby declared to be a planning area for the purposes of the Urban Planning Act.

3. General and Detailed Schemes for the scheduled area shall be prepared and deposited with the Director of Urban Planning and Malinyi District Executive Director. 1 Urban Planning (Malinyi Planning Area) Gn.no.617(Contd.) _________ SCHEDULE _________ The planning area is contained within the following boundaries: Commencing along the boundary of Igawa and Lugala villages at Ngadula settlements 0.430 kilometers to the road leading to Igawa where there is beacon number BIQ70 (with coordinates 9014206.161N, 183555.294E) the boundary thence goes to Eastern side through confluence of Kiwale stream which is mainly covered by farms within Lugala village 2.04 kilometers to beacon number BIQ71 (with coordinates 9013692.978N, 185530.435E) thence, continue going Eastern side up to the junction of the road going to Malinyi Day Secondary School from Mkomange settlement 2.28 kilometers where there is beacon number BIQ72 (with coordinates 9014664.784N, 187588.479E) thence, continue going on Eastern side passing through farms up to the boundary of three villages namely Mchangani, Sofi Majiji and Igawa for a distance of

4.38 kilometers, where there is beacon number BBX542 (with coordinates 9014407.679N, 191964.162E) thence, continues extending on Easterly side passing through farms up to the boundary of Sofi Majiji and Misegese villages for 1.39 kilometers where there is beacon number BAG 598 (with coordinates 9014734.089N, 193310. 209E) thence, from that point goes to Eastward cutting across farms based on Majiji village for a distance of 2.49 kilometers to beacon number BIQ73 (with coordinates 9012380.362N, 194115.917E) thence on the same direction passing through farms for a distance of 2.91 kilometers until it reaches beacon number BIQ74 (with coordinates 9010395.59N, 196250.498E) thence, continues to pass through farms for a distance of 1.97 kilometers up to a point where there is beacon number BIQ75 (with coordinates 9011123.418N, 198081.405) thence, goes North - East through Old Malinyi Sofi road for a distance of 3.20 kilometers the area mainly covered by farms up to a boundary of two villages namely Sofi Majiji and Sofi Mission where there is beacon number BIQ76 (with Coordinates 9009638.99N, 200917.568) thence, goes East through the confluence of Sofi river up to Sofi bridge (Malinyi Road) for a distance of 3.06 kilometers to beacon number BIQ77 (with coordinates 9007862.06N, 203408.5E) thence, continue on the Southern direction passing through Nakatete natural pond and some scattered forest for a distance of 0.79 kilometers to a point where there is beacon number BIQ78 (with coordinates 9007338.938N, 202810.575E) thence follows footpath South - west passing through scattered forest and Madega hills for a distance of 3.16 kilometers until it reaches beacon number BIQ78 (with coordinates 9005179.764N, 200509.347E) thence, continue to South - west direction passing through farms, crossing River Furua on the side of Sofi Mission for a distance of 2.52 kilometers to beacon number BIQ79 (with coordinates 9004728.589N, 198032.235E) thence, Western side direction through the confluence of Furua river and farms based on Misegese village for a distance of 5.37 kilometers up to beacon number BIQ80 (with coordinates 9006690.36N, 193035.169E) thence, North- western side passing through farms up the point close to the bridge of Songea road 0.478 kilometers for a distance of 1.73 kilometers to a point where there is beacon number BIQ81 (with coordinates 9008404.602N, 192780.469E) thence Westerly direction parallel to Songea road passing through Kangombe and Ndewele settlements for a distance of 7.39 kilometers up to beacon number BIQ82 (with coordinates 9008150.798N, 185388.484E) thence North-western side crossing Furua river and Igomini settlement for a distance of 3.34 kilometers up to beacon number BIQ83 (with coordinates 9008150.798N, 185388.484E) thence Northern direction passing through farms of Njasa area for a distance of 1.78 kilometers up to Kangumba farms where there is beacon number BIQ84 (with coordinates 9011306.547N, 181853.693E) thence continues on the North side passing through 2 Urban Planning (Malinyi Planning Area) Gn.no.617(Contd.) farms based on two villages namely Kipingo and Lugala for a distance of 1.93 kilometers up to the road going to Biro village where there is beacon number BIQ85 (with coordinates 9013188.569N, 182298.543E) thence, goes North - east passing through farms close to area famous as “Camp” which is close to Malinyi Air Strip for a distance of 1.62 kilometers up the commencement point.
