The Urban Planning (Preparation of Moshi Municipal Council General Planning Scheme) Order, 2021

1. This Order may be cited as The Urban Planning (Preparation of Moshi Municipal Council General Planning Scheme) Order, 2021. Notice of preparation of scheme Cap. 355

2. The area prescribed in the Schedule is hereby declared to be an area for preparation of Moshi Municipal Council Master Plan (2018 – 2038) for the purposes of the Urban Planning Act. Scheme of scheduled area

3. General and detailed scheme for the scheduled area shall be prepared and deposited with the Director of Urban Planning and the Director of Moshi Municipal Council. Revocation of GN. No. 219 of 2016

4. The Urban Planning (Moshi Municipal Council Planning Area) Order, 2016 is hereby revoked. 1 Urban Planning (Preparation of Moshi Municipal Council General Planning Scheme) GN. NO. 632 (Contd.) ________ SCHEDULE ___________ (Made under paragraph 2) ___________ Moshi Municipal Council area is contained in the following boundaries: “Commencing at a point along Karanga River at beacon number TBBC 2, the boundary follows the Northern boundary of Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center in the Eastern direction (TBB 3 -5) until it reaches Moshi/ Shingachini (Kibosho) road, beacon number TBB 6, thence the boundary follows the road Southwards the present Moshi Town up to the road which branches to Rau Trading Center, beacon number TTB 9, thence follows the road to Rau Trading Center beacon number TBB 18, thence Southwards along Kishumundu Road to join the bridge at Rau and again to follows the Rau State Lodge, beacon number TBB 43, thence Eastwards in a straight line to the road which goes to Mbokomu beacon number TBB 42, thence follows the road southwards to a point which is the Northern boundary of Kiboriloni ward beacon number TBB 41, thence runs Eastwards in a straight line until it joins Msaranga River, beacon number TBB 40, thence runs parallel to Moshi/Dar es Salaam road, in Easterly direction to Mola River, beacon number TBB 39, thence runs south along Mola River for a distance of 600 meters until it joints Moshi/Dar es Salaam road, beacon number TBB 38, thence in South Westerly direction to Tanga/ Moshi railway line Northern boundary of TPC Sugar Plantation, beacon number TBB 33, thence it follows the plantations boundary Westwards until it joins Karanga River, where Moshi/ Arusha railway crosses thence it follows this railway line until it joins Klededa River, beacon number TBB 32 thence follows the Klededa River Northwards to its tributary which leads to Sambarai, thence along this tributary to Taifa Road (Moshi/ Arusha Road); thence Northwards along this tributary for a further distance of 500 meters beacon number TBB 31, thence to a South Easterly direction and parallel to Moshi/ Arusha 2 Urban Planning (Preparation of Moshi Municipal Council General Planning Scheme) GN.
