About this statute

This provision gives the short title of the Instrument. Assets listed in the First Schedule and located in Municipal, Urban, and District Councils vest in the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Human Settlement Development. Certain listed assets are transferred to the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Human Settlement Development. The listed assets must be assessed, valued, and surveyed, and the certificate of title is to be issued in the name of the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Human Settlement Development. The National Housing Corporation must assess, value, and survey the assets, ensure title deeds are issued in the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Human Settlement Development’s name, and the Government must establish procedures.
