The Water supply and sanitation (Geita urban water supply and sanitation authority) (Extension of service area) Notice, 2021

1. This Notice may be cited as the Water Supply and Sanitation (Geita Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority) (Extension of Service Area) Notice, 2021.

2.-(1) The service area of the Geita Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority is hereby extended to include the areas specified in the Schedule to this Notice. (2) Any community organisation or entity registered prior to coming into operation of this Notice providing water Supply and sanitation services in the extended service areas shall cease to provide such services. (3) The rights, responsibilities, tenure of employees, assets and liabilities or any other related matters given, issued or undertaken by the community organisation or entity referred to under subparagraph (2), shall vest to the Geita Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority. 1 Water Supply and Sanitation (Geita Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority) (Extension of Service Area) GN.
