The Tanzania Investment (Amendment) Regulations, 2024

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Tanzania Investment (Amendment) Regulations, 2024, and shall be read as one with the Tanzania Investment Regulations, 2023, hereinafter referred to as the “principal Regulations”. Addition of regulation 36A

2. The principal Regulations are amended by adding immediately after regulation 36 the following- “Investor grievance mechanism procedure an

36A.-(1) Subject to the provisions of section 32A of the Act, an investor who is aggrieved by related investment conduct, action or decision of a Government entity, may submit his grievance in writing to the Centre through an electronic integrated investment system or postal address of the Centre. (2) Upon receipt of the grievance, the Centre shall, within thirty days, convene a meeting or meetings as may be necessary between an investor and the concerned entity for hearing and resolution of the reported grievance. (3) Subject the provisions of section 32A(3) of the Act, the Centre may, while to 1 GN. NO.471 (Contd.)
