This section amends the Third Schedules by replacing some veterinary facility definitions and adding new ones. A veterinary centre must meet minimum establishment requirements, including structural facilities and a registered enrolled paraprofessional or enlisted paraprofessional assistant. A veterinary centre must include minimum structural facilities such as a designated room, washable walls and floor, ventilation and lighting, waste disposal or an incinerator, and a toilet. A veterinary centre must have at least a registered veterinarian, paraprofessional assistants, and other appropriate supporting staff.
