Statute overview

About this statute

This Order is called the Aga Khan University (Amendment) Order, 2002, and it comes into force at once. This section amends Article 2 by renumbering one clause, inserting two new definitions, and omitting clause (d). This provision substitutes the word “Rector” with “Chief Executive Officer” wherever it appears in President’s Order No. 3 of 1983. This section amends Article 4 so the University may do more academic and institutional activities, including research, conferences, publishing, affiliations, and using other institutions and facilities. The Chief Executive Officer may be given the title of President of the University, and may delegate powers and functions if the Board and Chancellor approve.
