Statute overview

About this statute

The Chairman of the Board serves for three years and may be re-appointed for one further term. The Board of Trustees must elect a Vice Chairman from among its own members. Officers who administer the Fund must attend Trustees’ meetings when Fund management matters are being discussed. A meeting of the Board of Trustees has a quorum when half of the members are present. The Chairman must convene ordinary board meetings and send notice and papers to each Trustee at least 14 days before the meeting. Special meetings must be convened on a written request signed by at least three Trustees, and conflicted Trustees must disclose the interest and not join the decision.
