Statute overview

About this statute

The members must elect one of their number to be the Vice-Chairman of the Board. A member normally holds office for three years and may be re-appointed for one term. A Board member is entitled to remuneration, fees, or expense allowance set by the Minister, on recommendation from the Minister responsible for public service. A member may resign by giving signed notice to the Minister. If a Board member who holds office cannot attend a meeting, that member may nominate someone from their organisation to attend instead.
