Statute overview

About this statute

At the Board’s first meeting, the members must choose one of their number to be Vice-Chairman. Members, including the Chairman, are appointed for three years and may be re-appointed for one further consecutive term only. A member may resign at any time by giving written notice to the appointing authority. The Board must meet at least four times a year, with ordinary meetings called by the Chairman and special meetings called by the Chairman or Vice-Chairman in specified cases. The Board must keep proper minutes of each meeting and confirm them at its next meeting.
