Statute overview

About this statute

The Chairman of the Board serves for three years and may be re-appointed for one further term. The Board of Trustees must elect a Vice-Chairman from among its own members. Officers responsible for administering the Fund must attend Trustees’ meetings when Fund management matters are discussed. A Board of Trustees meeting has a quorum when half of the members are present. The Chairman must convene ordinary board meetings and send each Trustee the notice and papers at least 14 days before the meeting. A special meeting must be convened by the Chairman, or by the Vice-Chairman if the Chairman is absent, when at least three Trustees make a written request. Trustees with a direct or indirect interest in a matter must disclose it and must not take part in the related deliberation or decision.
