Uganda Tea Authority (Repeal) Act

Section 1. Interpretation Section In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires— “ Authority ” means the Uganda Tea Authority established under the Uganda Tea Authority Act, Cap. 36 (Revised Edition, 2000); “ Minister ” means the Minister responsible for agriculture.

Section 2. Appointment of liquidator Section 2(1) The Minister shall, on the coming into force of this Act, appoint a liquidator to dissolve the Authority . Section 2(2) The liquidator appointed under subsection (1) , shall be appointed on such terms and conditions as the Minister may determine in the instrument of appointment.

Section 3. Duties of liquidator Section receive all the assets of the Authority ;

Section 4. Repeal Section The Uganda Tea Authority Act, Cap. 36 (Revised Edition, 2000) is repealed.
