Section 10A-1-4.23 Certificate of Correction.

(a) The certificate of correction must: (1) state the name of the entity and the unique identifying number or other designation as assigned by the Secretary of State, if any; (2) identify the filing instrument to be corrected by (i) description; and (ii) date of filing by the filing officer; (3) identify the inaccuracy, error, or defect to be corrected; and (4) state in corrected form the portion of the filing instrument to be corrected. (b) The certificate of nullification must: (1) state the name of the entity and the unique identifying number or other designation as assigned by the Secretary of State, if any; (2) identify the filing instrument to be nullified by (i) description; and (ii) date of filing by the filing officer; (3) identify the inaccuracy, error, or defect; and (4) state that the filing instrument is to be nullified.
