About this statute
A person may not alter a record or document filed in a commissioner’s office under this code unless the commissioner or an authorized deputy approves it. The department may establish and maintain tuberculosis control areas within this state. When the department establishes a tuberculosis control area, the affected industry must be notified. The State Veterinarian may authorize testing of cattle in a tuberculosis control area to identify animals affected with tuberculosis. Owners of cattle in a tuberculosis control area must, when the department asks, provide facilities and help for tuberculosis testing.
