Missouri Revised Statutes § 105.453 - Paid political consulting, prohibited for statewide elected officials and members of general assembly

105.453. Paid political consulting, prohibited for statewide elected officials and members of general assembly. — 1. No statewide elected official or member of the general assembly shall accept or receive compensation of any kind as a paid political consultant for: (1) A candidate for the office of governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, state treasurer, state auditor, state senator, or state representative; (2) The candidate committee of the governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, state treasurer, state auditor, state senator, or state representative; (3) The governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, state treasurer, state auditor, any state senator, or any state representative; (4) Any continuing committee; or (5) Any campaign committee. 2. For purposes of this section, the terms "candidate", "candidate committee", "campaign committee", and "continuing committee" shall have the same meanings given to such terms under section 130.011.
