§ 53-224. 14. Requirement of notice and other conditions.
An out-of-state bank must give the Commissioner written notice before applying for federal approval to open or buy a branch in North Carolina, and it must follow Article 15 of Chapter 55. It may do so only if its home state gives North Carolina banks substantially similar branching rights.
