9-25-4.1. Temporary provision; transfers. A. On the effective date of this act, all functions, appropriations, money, personnel, records, files, furniture, equipment and other property of the commission on higher education shall be transferred to the higher education department. B. On the effective date of this act, all contractual obligations of the commission on higher education shall be binding on the higher education department. C. On the effective date of this act, all references in law to the commission on higher education shall be deemed to be references to the higher education department and all references in law to the executive director of the commission on higher education shall be deemed to be references to the secretary of higher education.
