This article amends Article 36 of the Forest Law so the court may fine a person for an infraction under the law in force, in addition to any other compensation provided by law. This article changes Article 36, point 36.6 by replacing the old wording with new wording that says the court may fine a person for a contravention under applicable law. For certain forestry offences, items used for or intended for the offence, or obtained through it, may be seized as a protective measure; forest guards, forest inspectors, police, and other authorized persons may temporarily take those items from the offender.
