Statute overview

About this statute

This Act may be cited as the Higher Authority for Power (Special Provisions) Act. This section defines three terms used in the Act. The Higher Authority must have four members: two Ministers appointed by the Government of Zambia and two people appointed under the amending Order. A Minister’s certificate stating that a named person is or was a member of the Higher Authority must be accepted in proceedings as conclusive proof of that fact. This section says the Act stops having effect on a date the Minister notifies by statutory instrument.
