This Act may be cited as the Citizenship of Zambia (Amendment) Act, 1988, a.nd shall be read as one with the Citizenship of Zambia Act, in this Act referred to as the priucipal Act. 2. Section fifteen of the principal Act is repealed. 3. The principal Act is a.mended in section seventeen, by the doloti,m of " sections fifteen, and sixteen " a.ad the sub­ stitution for it of " section Bixle-en ". 4. This Act sha11 uot o.pply to a.ny peraon whose right to apply for registration as a. citizen of Zambia iii preserved by paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of section 5 of the Constitution (Amendment) Act, 1988.
