Central Committee Members', Ministerial and Parliamentary Offices (Emoluments) (Amendment) Act, 1990

1. (1) 'l'his Act may be cited aa the Central Committee .Members', Ministerial and Parliamentary Offices (Emoluments) (Amendment) Act, 1990, and shall be read as one with the Central Committee Members', :;\finistet'ial and Parliamentary Offices (Emoluments) Act, 1981, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. (2) The provisions of sections two, three and five shall be deemed to havo como int.o operation on 1st July, 1990. (3) The First, Sobedule- (a) set out in Appen<lix I of this Act shall be deemed Lo bavo come into operation on 1st September, 1989; (b) set out in Appendix II of this Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st July, 1990.

2. Section four of tho principal Act is amended- substitution therefor of "Kl4,030"; (a) in subsection (I) by the deletion of "K.7,584:" and the ....... I (i) in paragraph (a,) of "K7,684" and tho sub­ (b) in subsection (2) by the deletion- stitution therefor of "K.14,030"; (ii) in paragraph (b) of "K3, 792" and the sub­ stitution therefor of "K7 ,015"; (c) in subsection (3) by the deletion of "K2,652" a.nd th� sub11titution thflt•efor 'of "K4,906/'; Singu, co7Jir.11 of thi4 Act may be o/Jtrn1tetl .from tile Oovcrnmrnl P.-it'IJ{o,-, l'.O. 3. Section five of the principal Act is ame11ded- (a) in paragraph (a) by the deletion of "K25,476" and tho substitution therefor of "K56,016"; (b) in paragraph (b) by the delotiou of "Kl3,650" and the substitution therefor of "K32,000".

4. The principal Act is amended by the repeal of the First Schedule thereto and the substitution therefor of- (a) the First Schedule set out in Appendix I for the period befor<' 1st July, 1990; (b} the First Schedule set out in Appendix IT, with effect from 1st July, 1990.

5. The principal Act is amended by the repeal of the Third Schedule thereto and the su hstitution therefor of the Third Schedule set ont in the Appendix III of this Act.
