(4) Where a standard of weight or measure is about to be brought into use in Zambia the Minister shall, by notice published in the Gazette or a newspaper with daily circulation, declare that such standard of weight is about to be brought into use in Zambia and specify therein the date on which that standard or weight shall become operative; and upon publication of the notice, such standard shall become a national standard of weight or measure; and shall, for all purposes, be conclusively deemed to be true and accurate. (5) Every national standard shall be accompanied by a certiﬁcate of calibration.
