Statute overview

About this statute

This section gives the short title of the regulations and says they are to be read together with the Brands Regulations as the principal Regulations. The First Schedule is amended by replacing Form 1 with a new form. These By-laws may be cited as the Lukulu District Title Conncil (Cattle Levy) By-laws, 1983. This section defines key terms used in the By-laws unless the context requires otherwise. People who slaughter cattle to sell the meat, or export cattle from the area, must pay a cattle levy of five kwacha per beast.
