About this statute

These Regulations apply to state-owned enterprises scheduled for privatisation under the Act. A state owned enterprise must not sell or otherwise dispose of its property unless it has the Agency’s prior written approval. The Agency must process applications in the stated interests, tell the applicant its decision within 30 days, and may attach binding conditions when approving. A state owned enterprise must file specified sale information with the Director as soon as a sale is completed. A state owned enterprise must conduct any sale or disposal of its real property through a property management company, estate agent, auctioneer, or another class of persons specified by the Agency.
