Supplement to the Republic ofZambia Government Gazette dated.the 5th February, 1999 43 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA STATUTORY INSTRUMENT No. 22 OF 1999 The Chiefs Act (Laws, Volume 16, Cap. 287) The Chiefs (Withdrawal of Recognition) (No. 2) Order, 1999 WHEREAS the President is satisfied, after due inquiry, that the person named in the Schedule to this Order has ceased to be entitled under African Customery law to hold the office specified therein: Now THEREFORE, in exercis" of the powers contained in section four of the Chiefs Act, the following Order is h�reby made: I. This Order may be cited as the Chiefs (Withdrawal of Recognition) (No. 2) Order; 1999. 2. The recognition accorded under the Chiefs Act to the person named in the Schedule is hereby withdrawn.
